The buyer of this tag will be the second hunter of the season. The 7-day, free range hunt is planned for October 18th through 25th, 2025. If necessary, dates can be moved to a further date, pending availability. Past winners of this tag have harvested rams that range in the mid-180s.

The “Wild Horse Island Ram” is the world’s record bighorn sheep that roamed Wild Horse Island State Park in Flathead Lake, in western Montana. This massive ram died of natural causes, and its horns were picked up by personnel from Montana Fish
