Where Hunting Happens, Conservation Happens™

Rhode Island State Big Game Records

This tiny state and its liberal seasons make it a solid place to fill the freezer

It makes sense that the smallest state in the U.S. would have the fewest record-book entries at just four. And that’s okay. There are a lot of deer here. Hunters can take up to two antlered whitetail deer and six antlerless deer every year. With so little land and so many people, finding a place to hunt is tough.

But for hunters willing to knock on a few doors, prospects are good. In fact, many landowners want those deer out of their flowerbeds and are more than willing to let hunters hang a stand nearby.
