Four classics in outdoor literature, all digitally re-mastered and newly available from Boone and Crockett Club, top the summer reading list for hunters, adventurers and conservationists.

The paperback series includes:

  • A Hunter's Wanderings in Africa by Frederick Courteney Selous
  • Camp-Fires in the Canadian Rockies by William T. Hornaday and John M. Phillips
  • African Game Trails by Theodore Roosevelt
  • The Wilderness of the Upper Yukon by Charles Sheldon

Each book was authored by a member of the Boone and Crockett Club in the late 1800s or early 1900s and hand-selected for digital re-mastering by a panel of experts on vintage hunting literature. Readers will be taken back to a time when hunting trips didn't happen over a weekend, but were adventures lasting weeks or months. High-quality photographs and drawings from decades long gone are scattered throughout these titles.

The books are priced at $24.95 each and can be purchased directly from Boone and Crockett, visiting www.boone-crockett.org or calling 888-840-4868.

Boone and Crockett Club members ($35 annual dues includes subscription to Fair Chase magazine) receive a discount on books purchased directly from the Club.
